No data no future

Kennisdelingssessie – Skybar in Microlab (Strijp-S)

The teams behind the projects Everybody in the (art)house!, Living Lab Open Cultuurdata, Crowdkeeping and Podiumpas share their experiences and engage in a discussion about processing and using audience data for relationship-management strategies and analysis purposes in the cultural and creative sector. How can we ensure that these and other successful projects can be turned into a single larger movement that carries more weight? Is pooling or centralising data and strategies necessary to make the difference? And how does the public benefit from this? In this session, the project teams would like to emphasise the collective importance of data for the cultural and creative sector, based on the following proposition: data-driven collaboration is the future!

Artists as Technological Innovators

Kennisdelingssessie – Skybar in Microlab (Strijp-S)

Curious about how makers contribute to technological innovation? We will discuss this in detail during Artists as Technological Innovators. To this end, the project teams behind Hybrid Music Vibes, Touched by a Hologram, Meta-Estate Lab and Innovation: Lab share their experiences. We invite you to explore the future of the cultural and creative sector together. Which new skills are important? To what extent does it require a different way of organizing makers, institutions and other parties in the sector? How can more space be created for (interdisciplinary) experiments by makers? We will discuss this with each other, with the aim to learn from each other and contribute to a future where creation and technology increasingly merge.
